Merry Christmas

So I decided that I had better start to really get in the Christmas spirit and finally get some new pictures of my kids taken, so we headed off to a friends house to have them done and can I just tell you he did a wonderful job and I love all of them. Here are some of the darling pictures he took.

Abbie is getting ready to turn 5 months old and I have no idea where the time has gone but we are trying to enjoy every moment of it. I have to say this year was a lot of fun I got to go out and find her very first Christmas dress and I fell in love with this one the minute I saw it.

As you can tell she was done having her picture taken but I have to say this is one of my very favorite pictures of her. My precious angel sent straight from heaven to bless our family.

Although they fight all the time I guess deep down they really do love each other and they are for sure 100 percent boy. They are so excited for the Christmas season and Dominic is reminding me on a day to day basis how many days are left until Santa comes.

Dominic is really starting to show his darling personality, this is one of the cutest pictures I have ever scene of him. He is such a wonderful child and great big brother and we love him very much and enjoy seeing him change into a young man right infront of our eyes one day at a time.

Anyone that knows Landon knows that this is his personality perfectly. Although we have always said that he is our most difficult child we love him dearly and he really makes our little family complete. He is getting so big and turning into a little man right in front of us, it makes me sad that he isn’t our little baby any more.

WE WISH YOU A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS.

So we decided to brave the cold weather and take the kids out to see Santa. They have this cute little village the set up in Ogden with all these different houses that are all decorated for Christmas, this is the first year that we have gone and it was well worth it. Santa only comes out at night so we had to dress the kids in warm clothes with all the works hats, gloves and so forth and then stand in line for about 30 minutes. We tried to all stay warm by drinking hot coco and stuff, I didn't think we were going to make it Dominic was complaining the entire time how cold he was and Landon kept wondering off to look at all the lights. We finally made it into the little house and they both climbed up on his lap one at a time and told the Jolly man what they wanted. Once we were finished in there we decided that we had better head home because it was freezing outside. It really was a great night even though it was so cold outside and I was happy to see that both the boys were willing to actually talk to him this year, I know that we will be checking the village out again next year as well.

We have also decided that this year we would get in the Christmas spirit and throw our first ever Christmas party. We have invited some close friends and family up for all the food and fun they can have, I am sure that this is going to become a new family tradition.

So a few weeks ago we thought it would be the perfect time to take the kids out and get some cute fall pictures, so we asked a dear friend of ours to come out and take them for us and I am so pleased with how well they turned out.

This is one of my favorites, so cute to see the big brothers with their sister and the cute smiles on their face, I really think this is the only one that Landon is actually smiling with a normal smile.

Here is our sweet baby girl she is now 3 months old and we can't believe how big she is getting, this is one of the most adorable pictures I have ever seen, she has the cutest smile on her face. She is smiling more and more everyday, and is getting ready to rollover all the way any day now.

Now here is our little monster Landon, he is getting so big as well. I fell in love with this picture the first time I saw it, it just shows his mischievous personality which seems to be coming out more and more everyday.

Last but not least our sweet boy Dominic, he is also getting so big and loving every minute of it, he was so good for pictures if we could only get him to stop smiling with that cheesy smile, but it also shows his developing personality.

Halloween Time

So I haven't decided if the boys get more excited about Halloween or Christmas yet, Dominic has been asking me for months when it is going to be Halloween and I think he has changed his mind about 50 times on what he wants to be, I think he finally decided that he was going to be G.I. Joe. Landon I thought was going to be a bat, I usually like to pass the costume down each year so I don't have to buy as many, but I guess that won't be happening this year because he informed me that he wants to be a Transformer, the joys of having boys. We haven't made it to the store yet to get the boys costume's but while we were out today we did find a costume for Abbie's first Halloween so it is official she is going to be a LADY BUG. I saw the costume out of the corner of my eye while at Walmart today, I strolled over to take a look and once I took a closer look at it I fell in love with it, there was only one left in her size so I snagged it up and brought it home she is going to look so CUTE in it.

After we got home today from running all of our errands the boys were begging me to put the spiderwebs outside so that is what we did. We had placed all of our other fall stuff and some of the Halloween stuff outside at the first of the month but today we put the finishing touches on it. The front porch is now covered in spiderwebs, which Dominic informed me reminded him of giant cotton balls that we were just stretching out, after we got the webs up we put several black and orange spiders all over it, once the entire thing was complete Dominic and Landon said it looked like a Haunted House.

Stay tuned for some more spooky fun to come.........

Abbie’s Baptism

I know everyone has been waiting for me to add pictures to our blog so here we go. A couple of weeks ago we had Abbie baptized, since my dad is a deacon in the Catholic Church he was able to baptize her for us which makes the day even more special for all of us. We had a lot of friends and family that came and it meant a great deal to all of us that they were there to share in this special day with us.... We asked my brother Richard and his wife Lesa as well as grandma to be her Godparents they of course accepted with open arms. Richard and Lesa have spent most of there time away from us due to Richard being in the Air force, it is so nice to actually have them home now and to be able to spend time with them. We live just a few minutes away from each other and I am so glad the my children will be able to spend time with them as well as me and Rich.

I can't even tell you how much fun it was shopping for a baptism dress for Abbie, it wasn't easy to find one but once I saw this one I knew it was the perfect dress for her. Our close friend Jamie took all these pictures for us and this is probably one of my favorite pictures she has taken. There is just something about baby feet that makes me smile.

My handsome little guys

The boys are absolutely in love with there sister and were pretty excited that they were able to come to her baptism. The morning of her baptism Landon kept telling me not to forget her dress, I swear sometimes those kids think I am losing my mind, we won't tell them I probably am. I look at this picture and can't even believe how big they are getting before we know it they are going to be moved out and married. Just a quick update on the boys, Dominic has made it through his first month of kindergarten I can't believe how smart he is and how much he is learning, he comes home everyday and tells me all sorts of words and what letter they start with. He is starting to make new friends and seems to really enjoy going to school, thank goodness it is almost fall, for some reason he only wants to wear long pants and long sleeve shirts to school, it is hard to explain to him that it is 90 degrees outside and that he is going to be very hot if he wears that. Landon is doing well in school as well, he had a rough week a while back but is back to being a good boy at school now. He told us the other day that he had a girlfriend that other day when we asked him who it was he told us Mrs. Bick, his teacher how cute is that. He is learning a lot as well, he has had is colors down for a while but is really working on mastering his letters.

Our Wonderful Family

This is my amazing family as much as I hate having my picture taken I thought I would share this one since it was such a special day. Starting from left to right my sister in law Lesa then my hubby, me and Abbie, my dad then my mom the boys and last my brother. I am so glad that everyone was there. My brother and his wife have spent most of there time away from us since he was in the air force but now they are living here and lucky for us we only live about 5 minutes apart. My boys are in love with Uncle Richard and of course think that Aunt Lesa is pretty cool to. I am so glad that they are close again we have missed them over the past few years and are so glad that we can spend this time together now. My dad as I said was able to baptize Abbie which I know is something that is very special to him and to us alike, he has been able to baptize all of our children and it means a lot to us that he has been able to do this.

After her baptism my brother and his wife held an open house at there home and all of our friends and family were able to come and eat and have a great time. We had lots of food and anyone who knows our family knows that we always have enough food to feed an army. We had family there who were not able to make it to the baptism and we are so thankful that they were able to make it. My sister in law had this cute cake made at a little bakery in Ogden and it was delicious. I hope they know how thankful we are that they did this for us and for Abbie.

The start

Hello everyone.....so we have finally moved into the new age of blogging so bare with us as we get use to this new concept. Our house is busy as usual the boys are both in school Landon is in the 3yo preschool and goes 3 days a week and Dominic started all day Kindergarten, which just leaves Abbie home with me at least 3 days a week for a few hours.

Dominic is 5 now and loves school, it makes me sad that he is growing up so fast. He is my sweet baby boy who wears his heart on his sleeve, the second week of school he came home and told me that he had a girlfriend and that he had picked her a flower at school, I hope it wasn't a dandelion since that is what he seems to always find for me. He is an amazing big brother he is always asking me if he can hold his little sister and stops by to kiss her on the head every morning when he wakes up, I know that he really does love Landon although sometimes I wonder with all the fighting that occurs in my house.

Landon is our little monster he keeps us on our toes everyday, that kid can get himself into trouble without even trying. He is in love with school and especially his teacher first thing he does when he gets to school is go and give her a hug, as for mom I don't even get a hug or a see you later, I guess it is good he enjoys school that much. He is a great big brother as well he is always holding her hands and telling me how much he loves her little feet. He can also be a sweet loving little boy, but we have decided that he saves that for those for when he gets in trouble.

Last but least there is our new arrival, Abigail or Abbie as we call her, is just a perfect addition to our house, she is a pretty good baby so far she is sleeping for about 3-4 hours a night but she sure does love to sleep on her mom, which is sometimes really nice and other times not so comfortable. She is getting big already she just turned 6 weeks old and weighs about 9lbs 5ozs, she goes in for her 2 month check up at the end of this month. She was just baptized on Sunday that 6th which turned out beautifully she cried the entire time, so I guess it worked. We had a nice family gathering after and several of our friends and family came which meant a lot to all of us.

As for Rich and I we are both very busy raising our 3 wonderful children and working. Rich is still working for Waste Management and keeping busy, summer is coming to an end so he won't have to mow lawns for very much longer, which will be nice since that takes him away from us on the weekends that he doesn't have to work. He will be busy this winter though with all the things that we want to do inside the house to make it look more like us.

I am still working for the Sheriffs office which I really enjoy, I am starting back full time this week which is going to take some adjusting to but we will figure it out. My days off are spent doing everything that needs to be done around the house and running kids back and forth to school and stuff. We have been doing a lot of things as a family with our friends which has been a nice change, it is nice to get out of the house.
